Brands

DeVilbiss Healthcare product portfolio will include all respiratory and sleep products.

The Sunrise Mobility product portfolio will continue to include Quickie®, Jay®, Guardian®, Hoyer®, and Bio Clinic®. Additionally, the Sunrise Mobility sales team will represent the A.R.T. Group® portfolio of products (Whitmyer®, AES®, Rehabilitech®, Kid Kart® and Kid’s Up®).

Account Representation


Each business, DeVilbiss Healthcare and Sunrise Mobility, will have its own sales force. Therefore, the sales territories have been redesigned. In the next few weeks, we will be in contact with you to introduce your DeVilbiss Healthcare sales representative, as well as let you know if you will see a change of representation on the Sunrise Mobility side. Again, all Sunrise Mobility sales associates will begin representing the A.R.T. Group portfolio of products beginning July 1, 2007.

As an interim step only, a few open DeVilbiss Healthcare territories will be covered by Sunrise Mobility Account Managers.

Effective July 1st, the DeVilbiss Healthcare Customer Service organization will be in operation from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET. The toll free phone number is 800.338.1988 and the fax number is 800.552.7379.

The A.R.T. Group will continue to have independent Customer Service and Manufacturing Operations. This will ensure that the A.R.T. Group preserves the unique flexibility you have come to adore. The A.R.T. Group will also continue to capitalize on the talents and values that Rehab Product Specialists (RPS) bring to your ordering experience. For all your ordering needs, you can reach the A.R.T. Group team at 866.725.SEAT.

Sunrise Mobility will continue to service its clientele via the Customer Service Team you know today. Hours of operation, phone number (800.333.4000) & fax number (800.200.4114) will remain unchanged.

Websites


As of July 1st, DeVilbiss Healthcare will have a separate website www.devilbisshealthcare.com. All web orders for respiratory items will need to be processed using the new website.

www.sunrisemedical.com and www.artgrouprehab.com remain in operation and will continue to provide the same level of service they provide today.

Account Information 

Account Numbers for DeVilbiss Healthcare

A new account number, specific to DeVilbiss Healthcare, will automatically be established for all customers who have purchased DeVilbiss products in the last 24 months. Your new account number will be communicated to you in early June. Your account information for Sunrise Mobility and the A.R.T. Group will remain unchanged.

Credit Applications and Credit Limits


Customers purchasing from either DeVilbiss Healthcare or Sunrise Mobility will not be required to sign new credit applications.
Credit limits for both companies will be reviewed and monitored as part of normal business practices.

Ordering Process

Separate Orders for DeVilbiss Healthcare & Sunrise Medical

Effective July 1st, all orders will need to be processed separately for Sunrise Mobility and DeVilbiss Healthcare. Simply put, you will need to use your new DeVilbiss account number to order respiratory items and continue to use your current Sunrise account number to order Quickie®, Jay®, Guardian®, Hoyer® and Bio Clinic® products.

As such, you will be receiving separate order acknowledgments and separate invoices.

Ordering process for A.R.T. Group products will remain unchanged.

Open Orders

Orders placed prior to July 1st that remain open at the transition time will be shipped and invoiced under the Sunrise account number.

Ordering Online


A new website will be in operation for DeVilbiss Healthcare on July 1st ( www.devilbisshealthcare.com ). Online customers will need to sign up for a new user name and password to access the website. Ordering using EDI


DeVilbiss Healthcare will support the same EDI documents (order, order acknowledgment and invoice) as offered by Sunrise today. DeVilbiss Healthcare will have a separate EDI Identification Number (ID). A separate mailbox will be put in place to exchange EDI documents under the new ID. Invoice Payments


DeVilbiss Healthcare has established a new remit address/lockbox for invoice payments after July 1st,
2007. For any specific questions on payment or credit process for DeVilbiss, please contact Dawn Beals

VA Orders

The ordering process for VA customers will be identical to any other customer's.  VA locations will receive a new DeVilbiss account number to use when ordering Respiratory products through DeVilbiss Healthcare as of July 1st. Detailed communication will be sent out to the VA locations by mid-June.

Terms of Sales and Policies

DeVilbiss Healthcare Terms and Conditions

DeVilbiss Healthcare terms of sales will be identical to the terms of sales in place with Sunrise Medical for at least 6 months post creation of the business. If DeVilbiss Healthcare chooses to establish different terms of sales in the future, they will communicate directly with their customer base. Current Terms of Sales will be published at www.devilbisshealthcare.com.

Freight Policy


At transition time, the freight policy for DeVilbiss Healthcare will be identical to the one currently in place with Sunrise. If, in the future, DeVilbiss Healthcare chooses to establish a different policy, they will communicate directly with their customer base.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Lead Times

Shipping lead times will not be affected due to this transition. Both organizations are operating under the same business protocol that is currently in place.

Distribution locations


DeVilbiss Healthcare will be leveraging the Sunrise distribution network to fulfill orders of respiratory products, therefore minimizing the impact of the transition to our customers.

Returns & Replacements

Return Policy

Returns will be processed in the same manner as they are today. If, in the future, DeVilbiss Healthcare chooses to establish a different policy, they will communicate directly with their customer base.

Return Process


Returns for DeVilbiss Healthcare will be processed using the same process that is currently in place with Sunrise. Returns will be processed using DeVilbiss Healthcare account number effective July 1st. Therefore, return of products ordered prior to July 1st and after will be processed using the DeVilbiss Healthcare account number.

Pricing and Contracts

Customer Specific Pricing

As of July 1st, all specific customer pricing will remain unchanged. Both organizations will continue to monitor pricing based on market dynamics and reserve the right to make adjustments as necessary.

Qualification Parameters for Pricing Tiers


Current pricing tier qualification parameters are based on combined sales of Mobility, Standard HME and Respiratory products. Therefore, both organizations will be re-assessing the qualification parameters for their pricing tiers to reflect the new organization’s product portfolio. Review of customer placement in the appropriate tier will be taking place during normal business or contract reviews.

Growth Contracts


Some customers might have a growth contract (also known as a GIB contract) that is based on their total Sunrise purchases (including Mobility, Respiratory, STD HME). The majority of contracts will be closed out before December 31, 2007. Contracts that were scheduled to expire within this timeframe will be processed on their normal schedule. For contracts that are scheduled to expire after December 31st, your account representative will be working with you to pro-actively close the current contract in the fall timeframe and establish new business agreements.

Any rehab specific programs remain intact and will be managed directly by Sunrise Mobility.
