Great Made Greater! Quickie 2 is now even lighter, stronger, and more stylish than ever

4/3/2017

FRESNO, Calif., April 3, 2017 — Today, Sunrise Medical announced that the Quickie 2®, lightweight folding wheelchair, is lighter, accommodates a higher weight, and incorporates all the benefits the Quickie brand is known for - strength, durability, and style.

The Quickie 2 is now two pounds lighter, making it our most ultra-lightweight folding wheelchair yet. It delivers advanced aesthetics and uses 7000 series Aerospace Aluminum for a more rigid, stronger, and lighter crossbrace. The stronger frame results in an increased weight capacity of 300 pounds standard and 350 pounds heavy duty. The incredibly versatile axle plate, along with the modern wheels, caster housing, and upholstery provide a great looking, easy handling ultra-lightweight folding wheelchair.

"Quickie 2 can deliver an ideal fit through its adjustable crossbrace, over a thousand component configurations, and intuitive rear seat height adjustments in ½" increments so you can now order exact STFH to wheel position," says Jesus Ibarra, Associate Product Manager at Sunrise Medical. You can choose the hemi frame depth adjustable back, angle adjustable back, or the Quickie Xtender Power Assist for extra push. Quickie's full 28-color palette gives the end-user the ability to add one's own style.

The modern Quickie 2 comes with adjustable push handles and Q-Fit Technology for a tighter component fit. The product is also available in Lite and HP (High Performance) options.
