Our Eduction in Motion seminars are designed to provide participants with clinical education on a variety of topics related to improving the provision process and outcomes related to CRT including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and seating. Each seminar is conducted by a member of our highly educated and experienced team of professionals in engaging formats which include lecture, discussions, and hands-on activities to provide the most optimal learning experience.

All of our in-person courses and webinars are credentialed by IACET. This program is presented to you in partnership with VGM Education. VGM Education is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.

This course is designed for clinicians to enhance their knowledge and clinical application of wheelchair assessment. The assessment process for individuals requiring a wheelchair or seating incorporates medical history, home environment, transportation, home environment, MRADLs, physical and functional abilities, skin integrity, sensation, strength, ROM, balance, neurological status, posture in sitting, transfers, ambulation, wheelchair skills, and measurements. Each step of the process will be reviewed, providing information to match findings with equipment recommendation.

This course is designed for clinicians to enhance their knowledge and clinical application of the subject matter: considering mobility equipment as it relates to development. As part of this course, we will discuss the application of mobility equipment to support the development of self-initiated movement for function and participation. Additionally, the course will review specific challenges related to children with disabilities or delay, current evidence, and the assessment and prescription of products pertaining to on-time mobility or function desired.

This course is designed for clinicians to enhance their knowledge and clinical application of the subject matter. This course provides an overview of the mobility base with a focus on power mobility and alternative drive controls. Additionally, the course will review considerations based on physical impairment and functional ability of the client, with the goal to maximize participation and independence.

This course is designed for clinicians to enhance their knowledge and clinical application of the subject matter. The course reviews the client screening and wheelchair evaluation process for rigid wheelchair prescription. Additionally, participants will review clinical decision-making associated with pertinent anatomic, postural, and biomechanical considerations to optimize wheelchair fit.

This course is designed for clinicians to enhance their knowledge and clinical application of the subject matter. A 24-hour postural care program provides for seating and mobility intervention as well as when the individual is not in the wheelchair. This session addresses options for alternative positioning, toileting, bathing, and sleeping. Physiological and anatomical theoretical principles will be addressed incorporating how equipment can address an individual's postural needs.
